南無摩尼俱囉耶

南方位在丙丁火

Đức Phật Bảo Sanh
Phật Bảo Sanh
(Phạn văn: रत्नसम्भव, Ratna-sambhava). Trong
Ngũ Phương Phật thì vị Phật này là Như Lai ở Phương
Nam, đại biểu cho Phật Tỳ Lô Giá Na “bình đẳng tánh
trí”, cũng là đại biểu cho đức vi diệu của Phật Pháp, và cũng chỉ cho sự tăng
lợi ích vô lượng phúc đức, trân bảo. Nên gọi là: “Bảo Sanh”. Thân của vị
Phật này có sắc vàng” và Ngài ngự trên một cái đài được làm bằng tám con ngựa
vua lớn (bát đại mã vương). Ngài có thể chuyển hóa thức thứ bảy thành Bình Đẳng
Tánh Trí và có thể điều phục được tất cả chúng sanh kiêu mạn. Trong Chú Lăng
Nghiêm, thì đó chính là Bảo Sanh Bộ, biểu thị cho Chú Chư Thiên Vương và thuộc
loại Tăng Ích Pháp, có thể làm tăng trưởng giới, định, huệ của chúng ta chứ
không phải làm tăng tánh tham danh lợi dưỡng của chúng ta.

Bảo Vương Phật bộ chủ ma ni
Bồ Tát Hư Không quyến thuộc

Phương nam thuộc về lửa
Bính Ðinh
Lửa đỏ ánh hồng chiếu Khảm
Ly.
Giảng giải :
Nam Mô Ma Ni Câu Ra Da. Ma
Ni thuộc về "Bảo" (quý giá), Bảo Bộ là phương nam, phương nam Bảo
Sanh bộ.
“Bảo Vương Phật bộ chủ ma
ni.’’ Phật Bảo Sanh la bộ chủ Bảo Bộ.
“Bồ Tát Hư Không quyến
thuộc hội.’’ Ngài và Bồ Tát Hư Không Tạng và
Bồ Tát Ba La Mật cùng đại chúng ở cùng một nơi.
“Phương nam vi tri lửa
Bính Ðinh.’’ Phương nam là vị trí cua Bính Ðinh
hỏa, thuộc về lửa.
Cho nên “Lửa đỏ hồng quang chiếu Khảm Ly.’’ Tuy nhiên tại phương nam nên quang minh mầu đỏ rất mãnh liệt, chiếu Khảm, Khảm là phương bắc, Ly là phương nam. Khảm là phương bắc thuộc thủy, Ly là phương nam thuộc hỏa. Từ phương nam chiếu đến phương bắc hỗ tương chiếu sáng cho nên pháp quang của Bảo Bộ có thể chiếu khắp pháp giới.
Jeweled Birth Buddha
Among the Buddhas of the Five
Directions, Jeweled Birth Buddha(Sanskrit: रत्नसम्भव, Ratna-sambhava) is the host of the south.
He represents the wisdom of equality of the Vairochana Buddha, the dharma body
of Shakyamuni Buddha. He also represents the subtle and wonderful virtue
of the Buddhadharma. As he represents the increase of benefits in the form of
infinite blessings and jewels, he is thus called Jeweled Birth. The body of
Jeweled Birth Buddha is yellow in color and he sits on a seat supported by
eight great horse kings. Jeweled Birth Buddha can transform the seventh
consciousness into the wisdom of equality. He can tame all arrogant living
beings. In the Shurangama Mantra, the Jeweled Birth division encompasses
the mantras of the heavenly kings and the dharma of the increase of
benefit. The dharma of the increase of benefit refers to increasing our
precepts, samadhi, and wisdom, not to increasing our fame and profit.

(53) Na Mwo Mwo Ni Jyu La Ye
The Buddha jeweled Birth, is Lord of the Mani Division,
Replete with his retinue of Space-Bodhisattvas.
The south is the region titled Ping-Ting-Huo.
Its fire blazes with red light, illumining K’an and Li.
MWO NI is the mani jewel. This is the south, the Jeweled Birth
Division, the region hosted by the Buddha jeweled Birth. The
Buddha Jeweled Birth, is Lord of the Mani Division/ “Mani,” again,
just means “jewel.” Replete with his retinue of
Space-Bodhisattvas/ He is surrounded by his retinue of Space-Treasury
Bodhisattvas and Paramita Bodhisattvas. The south is the region
titled Ping-Ting-Huo/ The Chinese refer to this position in the south
as ping-ting-huo, which belongs to the element fire. Its fire blazes with
red light, illumining K’an and Li/ Although it is in the south, its
fire blazes with such intensity that it illumines k’an, the primary trigram in
the north, as well as li, the primary trigram in the south.
From the south, it shines to the north. K’an(坎), in the north, is water. Li(離) in the south, is fire. The illumination goes from
south to north and back again. So we see that the light from the Jeweled
Birth Division shines throughout the Dharma Realm.

COMMENTARY:
NWO NI is
the mani jewel. This is the south, the Jeweled Birth Division, the region
hosted by the Buddha Jeweled Birth. The Buddha Jeweled Birth is Lord of the
Mani Division/. "Mani," again, simply means "jewel".
Replete with his retinue of Space-Bodhisattvas/. He is surrounded by his
retinue of Space-Treasury Bodhisattvas and Paramita Bodhisattvas. The south is
the region titled "Ping-Ting-Huo,". The Chinese people refer to this
position in the south as "ping-ting-huo," which belongs
to the element fire. Its fire blazes with red light, illumining Kan and Li./
Although it is in the south, its fire blazes with such intensity that it illumines
Kan, the primary trigram in the north, as well as Li, the primary trigram in
the south. From the south, it shines to the north. Kan (坎), in the north, is of the element water. Li
(離), in the south, belongs to fire. The
illumination goes from south to north and back again. And so we see that the
light from the Jeweled Birth Division shines throughout the Dharma Realm.
In studying
the Buddhadharma, we should proceed vigorously and sincerely apply our own effort.
We should not let a moment pass by in vain, but should use our time
efficiently. Further more, in applying our effort,
we should not be influenced by the laziness of others or swayed by opposition.
In
everything we do, we should look within ourselves and not seek outside. And so
if others like to be lazy, let them go ahead and be lazy; but as for you
yourself, you should go forward and work even harder. You should increase your
studies and, in the midst of the demands on your time and energy to take care
of business, you should make time for lecturing on the Sutras and listening to
lectures on the Sutras.
There are
not many commentaries in the world written on the Shurangama Mantra; therefore,
the faster this lecture series is completed, and the sooner the explanations
are put into print, the better. In the world we cannot find many places where
people are truly and actually working for the sake of the Buddhadharma; even
within the Buddhadharma, most people are out for fame and profit. Therefore, we
should take on this responsibility.
In working energetically for the Buddharma, the products of our labor are invaluable. Everyone should clearly understand this. And so, for my part I will continue to lecture on the mantra, and lecture more often, so that this lecture series can be quickly completed. And then, however long it takes for the explanations to be translated and put into print will be up to you, because as was just said, we should only seek within ourselves and not expect things from other people.
