COMMENTARY:
The
incomparable Dharma Treasury: the emptiness of self and dharmas. The Buddha's Dharma
Treasury is peerless, he has obtained emptiness of both self and dharmas. Line 92.NAM-MÔ TÁT YẾT RỊ ĐA and 93. Ế ĐÀM BÀ GIÁ BÀ ĐA are asking the Buddha and Bodhisattvas to protect the Bodhimanda and the
mantra holder. When you recite the mantra, the heavenly demons and outside ways
are subdued and reliable. Comply with the great teaching to transform all
creatures.
Ế ĐÀM means “incomparable Dharma Treasury.” Clever expression of all dharmas breaks through three poisons. This means being able to speak all dharmas cleverly and thereby wipe out the three poisons of greed, hatred, and stupidity. Auspicious and venerated are the doctrines of the sages. These are two of the six meanings of Bhagavan: auspicious and venerated. Here they apply as well to the doctrines of the sages.
