100. BỘ ĐA YẾT RA HA

部多羯囉訶

Đại thừa Phật Đảnh chủng tánh căn

Quảng độ hàm thức xuất khổ luân

Hư không hữu tận nguyện vô tận

Đồng đăng bỉ ngạn Bát Nhã thâm.

大乘佛頂種性根

廣度含識出苦倫

空有盡願無盡

同登彼岸般若深

BWO DWO JYE LA HE

BỘ ĐA YẾT RA HA

With the root-line of the Great Vehicle, the Buddha's Summit,

One vastly saves conscious creatures so they leave the bog of pain.

Empty space may come to an end, but one's vows have no end.

Until all ascend the other shore of profound Prajna!

COMMENTARY:

BỘ ĐA  refers to "summit," as in the Great Buddha's Summit. YẾT RA HA means "line," or "lineage." With the root-line of the Great Vehicle, the Buddha's Summit. This is the Great Vehicle as opposed to the two vehicles. This is the highest, most lofty Dharma, that of the Buddha's Summit. "Root-line" refers to those with this disposition.

One vastly saves conscious creatures so they leave the bog of pain. The Great Vehicle stands for casting aside oneself in order to help others. It means forgetting about yourself in order to save all creatures. "Conscious creatures" are those with blood and breath. All can escape from drowning in the sea of suffering.

Empty space may come to an end, but one's vows have no end. Great Vehicle people make vows saying, "Empty space may come to an end, but my vow-power to save living beings will never end."Until all ascend the other shore of profound Prajna! They want all living beings to ascend the other shore of Nirvana and gain deep Prajna-wisdom, the ultimate Prajna wisdom.
